Last Updated(Beijing Time):2007-03-21 14:20
Semicon China opens today at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong.

The three-day exhibition is China's premier semiconductor industry trade show. It is the longest-established trade show in the country dedicated to semiconductor manufacturing.

In the last five years the number of visitors has grown more than 600 percent, from 4,000 to more than 25,500.

In addition, the number of exhibitors has increased from 208 companies in 2000 to more than 1,100 companies exhibiting last year.

Industry platform

SEMICON China is more than exhibits, it is a major industry trade show that provides multiple venues and opportunities for exhibitors to exchange information and network with customers and key decision makers.

The technical and business programs cover a broad range of topics from manufacturing to forecasting and serves as a platform for visitors to discuss and interact with recognized industry experts.

China will still be a key area for growth in the semiconductor and microelectronics industry over the next few years. Plan now to participate in future SEMICON China trade shows.

In Hall E1, visit the IC Designers Suppliers Pavilion. For the second year, FSA, SEMI and SICA are joining together to host the successful IC Design Suppliers Pavilion in conjunction with SEMICON China 2007.

The pavilion features 100 booths from semiconductor suppliers that offer products and services to the fabled houses in the IC design industry.
