France's industrial output rose by 1.3 percent in November from a month earlier, the French national statistics bureau Insee reported Friday.

Mining and energy activity also gained ground in November with a 6.3 percent rise after it had fallen by 4.2 percent a month earlier.

Manufacturing, in the meantime, inched up by 0.2 percent with output of electrical and electronic equipments down by 1.4 percent.
