Eurozone business climate indicator decreases marginally in July
The eurozone's business climate indicator (BCI) decreased slightly by 0.04 points to 0.17 in July, a European Commission survey showed Wednesday.
Managers' evaluation of the expected production and the current level of overall order books improved, while their assessments of past production declined, according to the survey.
Meanwhile, their appraisal of the stocks of finished products remained broadly unchanged.
The BCI is based on a factor analysis of the euro area aggregate balances of five of the monthly questions in the industry survey.
