The 7th China Baoshan Tengchong Border Trade Fair opened Friday in the city of Tengchong, southwest China's Yunnan Province.
More than 600 companies from 19 countries and regions, including Myanmar, India and Pakistan, are hosting exhibitions in the seven-day fair, according to the organizer.
Over 600 booths and 12 exhibition areas have been set up in an area of 61,405 square meters. Economic and trade cooperation talks, field visits and art shows will also be held during the fair.
The fair, with the theme of "integration into the Belt and Road and expanding opening-up," aims to build a platform for promoting cooperation, investment and cultural communication, and expand economic and trade exchanges between Yunnan, South Asian and Southeast Asian countries and regions.
