China's Aviation industry set to take off

The ongoing Zhuhai Airshow presented the latest and greatest aircraft, including fighters jets, helicopters, and drones. Let's take a brief look at some of the models.

China's newly unveiled attack helicopter, the WZ-10, is regarded as an important weapon for China's mechanized national defense system as well as for its land forces. With its better manoeuvrability and performance, it is more suitable for China's air defense.

During this year's airshow, Chinese-designed unmanned planes, the Wing Loong made its first appearance. It is produced by the Chengdu division of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China. The Wing Loong has a maxium takeoff weight of over one-thousand kg and a flight time of 20 hours.

Last, let's take a look at the J-10, the first supersonic 3rd-generation fighter jet designed and manufactured using Chinese indigenous technology. The J-10 is a multi-role combat fighter capable of operating in all-weather conditions.
