Import tariffs for vehicles cut
Last Updated(Beijing Time):2006-06-23 15:49
China's import tariffs for sedans and cross-country vehicles will be cut from 28 percent to 25 percent on July 1, the overseas edition of the People's Daily reported yesterday.

The import tariffs of auto parts will be lowered from the 13.8-16.4 percent range to 10 percent, the report said. The commission published the list of commodities subject to the tariff adjustment on Wednesday. The move is in line with China's commitments to the World Trade Organization.
