Shenyang Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co is preparing to ship 3,000 Zhonghua brand sedans to Germany in the first large-scale export of Chinese cars to Europe, the Shanghai Securities News reported yesterday, without citing a source.
Brilliance Jinbei is a joint venture between Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd and Shenyang Jinbei Automotive Co, according to Bloomberg News.
Brilliance China signed an agreement last month with HSO Motors Europe to export 158,000 of the cars to Germany over the next five years, the newspaper said.
The first 3,000 vehicles are awaiting shipment from the port of Dalian, the newspaper said.
