The 2013 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition is expected to see new car models by international and Chinese brands make their Asia and world premieres.
Audi A3 Sedan:Asia debut
Built off the Volkswagen's MQB platform, the sporty four-door sedan is inspired by the Audi A3 concept. It offers three petrol engine options: the 1.2 TFSI, 1.4 TFSI and 1.8 TSI. The sedan has a longer wheelbase than the A3 hatchback launched earlier this year, meaning more passe nger space.
Ferrari LaFerrari:Asia debut
LaFerrari supercar, unveiled at the Geneva auto show , features a 950hp petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain. The LaFerrari also sports a 120kw electric motor, bringing its total power output to a whopping 963CV. Its production is limited to just 499 models.

Mercedes-Benz GLA Concept SUV: Asia debutBased on the MFA platform and given A-class bones, the GLA will be offered with front- and all-wheel drive concepts. The GLA will offer two engine options: 1.6T (156 hp) and 2.0T (211 hp). It is expected to mass produce in the second half of this year. The GLA AMG will pack a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 350 hp.
Porsche 911 GT3:Asia debut
The Porsche 911 GT3 has a naturally-aspirated, 3.8-liter, 6-cylinder boxer engine. It packs more than 450 bhp (330 kW) and maxes out at 10,000 rpm. With a lightweight chassis and body, this gives a power-to-weight ratio of 3.0 kg/hp.
Maserati Ghibli: world debut
The luxury sedan offers two power plant options: a twin-turbocharged 3.0L petrol engine producing 390 hp and a 3.8L petrol engine producing 487 hp.
Porsche Panamera: world debut
The four-door sedan sports a new set of all-LED taillights, featuring a similar design to those on a Cayman. The Panamera S and Panamera 4S are both powered by twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engines.
The Auto Shanghai 2013 will be held in Shanghai at the New International Expo Center from April 21 to 29.
