China is likely to become the biggest consumer market by the end of its "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Yao Jian, spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce said yerterday, china.com.cn reported.
The "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", China's plan for economic and social development, starts in 2011 and ends in 2015.
The countryhas become the fifth-largest market for consumer spending last year. |
