A few days ago, on the ITU WORLD TELECOM 2009 held in Geneva, Switzerland, the international 3G standards TD with independent intellectual property right and represented by Datang Telecom Group made its debut with amazing grace, additionally, what had been demonstrated include TD-LTE technology application, and those cutting-edge products, technologies and solutions applied in the field of TD's third generation mobile communication and integrated circuit.

As one of the risers of international standards TD, the owners of core patents, the main promoters of industrialization and the leaders in equipment market, Datang Telecom Group has created a scientific development road of "technology patentability, patent standardization, standard industrialization and industry marketization" and opened a new era for the development of China's mobile communication industry over the past several years through persistently strengthening the capability of independent innovation, mastering a say in global mobile communication standards and patents, reinforcing the resource input, integrating the top key links of industrial chains and enhancing industrial cooperation.

As understood, in these emerging markets, people's main demand on communication is call, and it is hoped that the cost on network construction can be as lower as possible, so as to meet the demand on value-added service. In order to further expedite the independently innovated standards' launch into overseas market, besides improving its core competitive strength, Datang Telecom Group actively cooperate with copartners to jointly expand the international market. Datang Holdings, which is under Tatang Telecom Group, has invested capital on Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, and set up strategic cooperative relationship with Ericsson, Microsoft and Agilent, so as to expedite the commercialization and internationalization of TD industry.
