The light of intelligent manufacturing shined everywhere in the 18th China International Industry Fair held on November 1: the "army" of robot being able to dance, play ball games and spray coatings for automobile, the high-speed trains suspending to run quickly along the permanent magnet railway, the whole set of "industrial 4.0 intelligent production line" being able to adjust the configuration flexibly and connect the internet, the automatic handwriting pen being able to recognize voice, etc..
63 intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration projects in 2016 gathered together to this CIIF. The dairy products digital factory of Mengniu Dairy, the digital workshop of sight glass of Xuxin Optoelectronic and the networked collaborative design and manufacturing cloud platform of COMAC were all displayed one by one. Miao Wei, minister of the MIIT said the production methods, development patterns and industrial ecology of manufacturing industry characterized by hi-connect among human, machine and resources were undergoing profound changes. Intelligent manufacturing is the main attack direction determined for "Made in China 2025" and is also the key for Chinese manufacturing to keep up with the world development trend and establish new competition advantages.
MIIT has carried out specific action for intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration for two consecutive years and determined two batches of pilot demonstration projects (109 in total). As shown in this CIIF, pilots are getting progress continuously in respect of flow manufacturing, discrete manufacturing, intelligent equipment and products, the new model of new forms of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent management, intelligent service and so on, a batch of key intelligent manufacturing technologies and equipment have made important breakthrough, high-grade CNC machine tool, industrial robot, intelligent instruments and additive manufacturing have achieved rapid development and industrialization ability is continuously strengthened.
As an important terminal and carrier of intelligent manufacturing, "army" of robot was the most eye-catching in this Fair. Compared with that in the last year, this CIIF had seen more than twice of robots. And Chinese and foreign robots showed a wonderful "campaign" in the robot exhibition zone. ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Yaskawa and other international robot giants all attended the Fair, Siasun, GSK, Estun, Efort, Step and other local brands also appeared grandly.
Here, robots of German KUKA made a cool drum performance and played the game of "Whac-A-Mole" with visitors; the double-wrist location robots of KAWASAKI finished the assembly work efficiently by perfect cooperation and mutual coordination; the small collaborative robots of Fanuc enabled the man-machine collaboration in respect of feeding and blanking of machine tool, electronic assembly and the like to be safer due to their petite and flexible characteristics.
On the other side, the exhibition stand of Shenyang Siasun Robot Company was also popular. The double-arm collaborative robot installed the propellers of UAV flexibly and quickly and won the industrial design gold medal of this Fair; the light load composite robot affixed seal to the specific location of playing card accurately and performed amazing robot dance with double-arm collaborative robot and dancers. "The first intelligent flexible 7-axis light load composite robot in China" and "the first double-arm collaborative robot with proprietary IPR completely reserved in China" indicate that Chinese robots reach international first level. Besides, the xiao i robot interacted with visitors naturally and answered all questions, and the mining robot of CITIC Heavy Industries showed how to work in the high-risk environment of mines.
Intelligent production lines and intelligent factories with robots as carriers were also moved to this CIIF. German manufacturing company Bosch showed its "industrial 4.0 intelligent production line", which could switch among different tasks owning to modular design, could adjust configuration flexibly according to production requirements and could also connect the current devices and production lines to the internet. Local enterprise MJ Intelligent then showed its intelligent factory: raw materials could be warehoused without artificial guarding and from products to materials, their raw materials could be assembled automatically by shuttle vehicle, high-rise warehouse and hoist; automated guided vehicles with robots and in cooperation with visual sensors could realize the flexible assembly of products and get rid of the constraints of traditional production lines to realize similar manual assembly; customers could make personalized settings directly according to their own needs to place production order.
QCMT&T not only displayed the reducer-core component of robot, but displayed its intelligent manufacturing technologies. Wu Kang, general manager of the First Business Department of Qinchuan Machine Tool & Tool Group Share Co., Ltd., introduced that, in June this year, the "digital workshop of industrial robot reducer" of Qinchuan was listed as an "application project of integrated standardization and new model of intelligent manufacturing 2016" by MIIT.
Currently, the intelligent level of key links of Chinese enterprises such as R&D design, production equipment, process management, logistics, energy management are being improved continuously, and more than 85 percent of key industries have adopted digital design tools.
"China has become world's largest intelligent manufacturing demand market." Xin Guobin, vice-minister of MIIT, said that it's necessary to take the rapid development of intelligent manufacturing equipment industry with self-owned brands as the top priority of "Made in China 2025" by making good use of the huge market demand and to apply intelligent manufacturing equipment and solutions with self-owned brands for large-scale engineering by promoting pilot demonstration actively so as to promote intelligent manufacturing systematically.
