Alex Ferguson's autobiography has become one of the most popular imported English books in China's on-line shopping.
According to the statistics from Taobao, one of the largest online shopping sites in China, nearly 1,000 copies of Ferguson's My Autobiography have been sold since its release on October 26, which makes it one of the bestsellers in the category of imported English books.
He Juntao, who label himself as lifetime supporter for Manchester United, bought the book despite the fact that he had to overcome the language barrier.
"My English is so-so, but I am so eager to know more details and anecdotes of this man, one of the most influential figures in the history of British football, and I will keep it as one of my most valuable collections," he said.
After retiring early his year, the most established soccer coach launched his second autobiography, reviewing his successful career as a football manager for nearly four decades, his relationships with some of his outstanding players and the factors that led to his retirement.
