Tens of thousands of visitors flocked to see the remodeled Yuexiu District Library in southern China's Guangzhou city when it re-opened on Monday.
The six-story library aims to provide a relaxing haven for bookworms of all ages, with 400,000 books for the public to read.
The library boasts completely modern facilities, with free wireless internet access and special computers for the blind.
Affordable refreshments and drinks are also available at the food stalls in the refurbished building.
