A woman, Zhang, was bitten on the nose by her turtle as she kissed it, in Foshan's Nanhai District on Monday night.

The turtle refused to relax its grip on Zhang's nose until she hit her head on the door 10 minutes later. The turtle opened its mouth and fell to the ground.

Zhang went to a doctor, who told her to keep distance from pets.

Zhang, 30, sleeps with her turtle, which weighs more than a kilogram, every night.
