Newly-crowned Wimbledon Open doubles champions Zheng Jie and Yan Zi will lead China's challenge to get promoted to Fed Cup World Group I as they face Germany in a World Group II tie this weekend.

Li Na, the first Chinese to reach the quarterfinals of a grand slam tournament, and Peng Shuai, who reached the third round atthe Wimbledon Open, have also been named in China's squad for the clash.

Athens Olympics doubles champions Li Ting and Sun Tiantian round out the Chinese line-up announced on Tuesday.

China's captain Chen Qimin admitted that Germany is the stronger of the two sides, but said his team have a "half-half" chance of winning the match.
