A mother wolf and two babies were captured and taken to the Shaanxi Wild Animal Rescue and Feeding Center near Xi'an.

The she-wolf, living in a cave near the Shizigou Village in Shaanxi Province in Northwest China, was seen for years, and recently local farmers found her with her two babies in the cave. They called police, who captured the wolf and her babies and took them to the center.

A center official said both the wolves and the farmers are safer with the wolves at the center.
