Dollar trades in upper 98 yen in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar traded in upper 98 yen Monday morning in Tokyo, little changed from its level in New York on Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 98.72-73 yen compared with 98.68-78 yen in New York and 99.00-02 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.3386-3388 dollar and 132.14-17 yen against 1. 3376-3386 dollar and 131.99-132.09 yen in New York and 1.3341-3342 dollar and 132.08-12 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
