Dollar trades in upper 97 yen range in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 97 yen range Tuesday morning in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 97.74-75 yen compared with 97.60-70 yen in New York and 97.48-50 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.3333-3337 dollars and 130.33-36 yen against 1.3335-3345 dollars and 130.21-31 yen in New York and 1.3380-3382 dollars and 130.43-47 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
