Dollar moves above 100 yen in Tokyo deals
The U.S. dollar traded above the 100 yen line in Tokyo early Friday.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 100.11-13 yen compared with 100.06-16 yen in New York and 99.96-97 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The euro fetched 1.3118-3120 dollars and 131.35-37 yen against 1.3115-3125 dollars and 131.32-42 yen in New York and 1.3178-3179 dollars and 131.73-77 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
