Chinese shares opened higher on Monday as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, a major index of Chinese shares, opened at 2,103.82 points, up 1.77 points, or 0.08percent higher.
The index, which tracks both yuan-denominated A shares and hard-currency B shares traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, closed at 2,102.05 points on Friday. |
