Belarus will open its general consulate in Chongqing in southwestern China.

The general consulate of Belarus in China's Chongqing will be opened in 2020, according to a decision contained in the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 480.

The Belarusian Finance Ministry shall earmark funds for the opening and operation of the general consulate in Chongqing, the resolution said.

So far, Belarus operates two general consulates in China's Guangzhou and Shanghai respectively.
