Photo taken on Feb. 27, 2014 shows a winter living compound of the Zhongshan Station, a Chinese scientific research base in Antarctica. The Zhongshan Station was established in the Larsemann Hills of Antarctica on Feb. 26, 1989. The station, 12,553 kilometers from Beijing, China's capital, now has 17 buildings with advanced telecommunication facilities, cosy accommodation for visiting scientists and comprehensive scientific labs.
