Last Updated(Beijing Time):2012-05-02 07:00

Egypt's Prime Minister Kamal al- Ganzouri said the principle of his cabinet's work is ruled by the Constitutional Declaration.

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Fayza Abul-Naga quoted Ganzouri as saying in the governorate of Qalyubiya, according to Egypt's official MENA news agency.

In a press conference after a joint meeting in Qalyubiya attended by Ganzouri and some ministers along with members of the People's Assembly (lower house of the parliament) and Shura Council (upper house), she said that Ganzouri noted that his government is working seriously and sincerely according to the oath they took.

She added that the government has no information about reports on a cabinet reshuffle would be introduced shortly, stressing that the persons who said there will be a cabinet reshuffle should be responsible for related media reports.

For his part, Egyptian state minister for parliament affairs Mohamed Attiya denied the reports Monday night, confirming that Ganzouri's government will remain till the end of June.

Egypt's official MENA news agency reported last Sunday that the head of ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) Hussein Tantawi promised Speaker of the People's Assembly Mohamed Saad al- Katatni to reshuffle the government within 48 hours, after the speaker decided Sunday in a parliament session to suspend the parliament's sessions until May 6, and urged an immediate dismiss of the cabinet headed by Prime Minister Kamal al-Ganzouri.

Ganzouri's cabinet was appointed on Nov. 25, 2011 by the ruling military council, which is ruling the country after resignation of former President Hosni Mubarak in February of 2011.
