British Minister of State for Africa Harriett Baldwin will begin on Tuesday a three-day official visit to Sudan, Sudan's Foreign Ministry announced in a statement Monday.
The ministry welcomed Baldwin's visit, saying that it comes within the context of developing the bilateral relations and deepening the cooperation between the two countries.
It further commended the progressive bilateral ties and the support Britain provides for Sudan's development in different fields.
Sudan's Prime Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh is expected to meet with the British official to discuss means of joint cooperation, said the statement.
Baldwin is also scheduled to meet with Sudan's Vice President Hassabo Mohamed Adul-Rahman and Presidential Assistant Faisal Hassan Ibrahim.
The two sides will hold a session of joint talks at the premises of Sudan's Foreign Ministry to discuss horizons of cooperation and bilateral ties along with regional, international and political development.
