South Korea's defense procurement agency was raided over allegations its officials leaked confidential military information, local media reported Thursday.
The military's Defense Security Command raided the Seoul office of the state-run Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DPAP) on suspicions information on confidential mid-term defense plans was leaked, according to the Yonhap News Agency.
Five suspects, reportedly including an Army lieutenant colonel and a Navy lieutenant commander, are under investigation.
The Defense Security Command is an intelligence unit in the military tasked with collecting and protecting military intelligence. |
