South Korea will offer 50,000 U.S. dollars each to flood-hit Fiji and Papua New Guinea in humanitarian aid, South Korean Foreign Ministry said Thursday.
Recent heavy rainfall has caused floods and landslides that claimed lives in the two South Pacific countries.
The money will be used on rescue and reconstruction efforts in consultations with local authorities or the Red Cross, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. |
