Indonesian, Italian FMs to open interfaith dialogue in Jakarta |

Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa and his Italian counterpart Giuilio Terzi di Sant'Agata will open an interfaith dialogue in Jakarta, a press statement from the Foreign Ministry said here on Friday.
The interfaith dialogue is held in a joint cooperation between Indonesian Foreign Ministry and Italian Sant Egidio Community.
The dialog will be themed "Unity in Diversity: the Power of Dialogue for Peaceful Cohabitation in a Pluralistic Society," presenting Prof. Dr. Din Syamsuddin, chairman of Muhammadiyah, the second largest Islamic mass organization, and Great Bishop of Jakarta Mgr. Ignatius Suharyo.
Besides, both ministers are scheduled to sign an MoU on disaster management. |
