Japan's core private-sector machinery orders rose a seasonally adjusted 5.6 percent in June from the previous month to 709.7 billion yen, the government said Thursday.
The reading excludes orders for ships as well as from utilities because of their volatility. It is seen as an indicator for companies' future capital spending. |
