Polish, Swiss FMs discuss economic situation |

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski met his Swiss counterpart Micheline Calmy-Rey on Thursdayand discussed, among others, the economic situation in Europe.
The two ministers also signed an agreement on a scholarship program for Polish students and scientists, according to Polish news agency PAP.
Addressing a joint press conference following the talks, the two ministers agreed that Polish-Swiss relations are very good. Sikorski stressed that there are no disputable points between the two countries.
Calmy-Rey noted that Poland is Switzerland's important economicpartner in Europe and most important in central and eastern Europe.
The Swiss minister also announced the start of Polish-Swiss negotiations on an agreement on double taxation in April. |
