The name of a baby panda born at Vienna's Schonbrunn Zoo this summer had been chosen by fans through online voting, the zoo said on Monday.

The result also showed 40.8 percent of participants voted for Wei Xing ("joy of Vienna"), 9.1 percent for Ao Kang ("healthy Austrian boy").
Weighing 4.54 kg early this month, the cub of pandas Yang Yang and Long Hui was born on Aug. 23 in the zoo. The pandas were transferred from China to Schoenbrunn Zoo in 2003, and are on loan to Austria by China for a period of 10 years.
The cub will be officially named on Dec. 13 at a ceremony.
