EU launches project to support BiH judiciary
The European Union (EU) on Tuesday signed an agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to support the judiciary reform of the Balkan state.
Peter Sorensen, head of the EU delegation to BiH, inked the agreement with Milorad Novkovic, president of BiH high judicial and prosecutorial council, local media reported.
"The EU is committed to supporting the BiH judiciary in its road to EU integration," Sorensen said at the signing ceremony.
"What we have aspired to and what we will continue to do is provide support to the BiH judiciary so that it is independent, efficient and effective," he added.
Novkovic noted the project was part of a reform program of modernization and computerization by the BiH.
