5.0-magnitude quake hits south of Ierapetra, Greece: USGS
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 97 km south of Ierapetra, Greece, at 2041 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 15.62 km, was initially determined to be at 34.1397 degrees north latitude and 25.8512 degrees east longitude.
There are no immediate report of damage or casualties.
