The Ukrainian parliament will focus on laws on reforms during its 7th session, which is to start this week, Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy said on Monday.

"Last spring, the parliament worked out the basis for many important and fundamental reforms and we have the chance and the commitment to consider each of these reforms," Parubiy was quoted as saying by his press service.

The reforms of education and healthcare sectors, as well as judicial, pension and parliamentary reforms will be the top priority for the lawmakers during the upcoming session, he added.

The Ukrainian parliament will resume its work on Tuesday after a two-month break.

The 7th session of the parliament would last till Feb. 2, 2018.
