Last Updated(Beijing Time):2013-01-14 19:54

The Israel's Military's Advocate General's Corps (MAG) ordered to investigate the death of a Palestinian near Hebron over the weekend, the Walla! News website reported Monday.

According to the report, there is a suspicion that the military force didn't follow the rules and shot dead the 21-year-old Uday Darwish near Hebron on Saturday.

Darwish was killed on Saturday after trying to infiltrate to Israel looking for a job, both Israeli and Palestinian sources confirmed.

According to an initial probe by the Israeli Defense Forces ( IDF), he was hit in his lower torso while trying to cross the fence. He was rushed to a Be'er-Sheva hospital, but died later.

The initial probe also revealed that the suspect was unarmed during the incident.

Military officials told Walla! that they feared that the IDF force on Saturday acted recklessly and didn't follow the rules of engagement.

The soldiers claimed that the Palestinian was acting suspiciously and that they had fired a warning shot, then shot his legs.
