Most Czechs think that the upcoming Brexit will harm Britain, the European Union and the Czech Republic, and expect both sides to make concessions to reach an agreement, according to a poll released on Friday by the Czech Public Opinion Research Center (CVVM).
A total of 46 percent of Czechs believed that the EU as a whole would suffer most from Brexit and one third expect negative consequences for Britain, said the poll.
When asked about the Czech Republic, 34 percent of the polled chose the half-and-half answer and 31 percent said they expected negative impact.
More than a half said both the EU and Britain need to make compromises to reach an agreement.
Britain is to leave the EU on March 29. The British parliament has not yet passed the Brexit deal negotiated by British Prime Minister Theresa May and her cabinet.
