Grammys 2014 to shape up as Beatles night

The Grammys weekend has been added more fuel and shaping up to be a Beatles night by booking a performance from former Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

McCartney and Starr are slated to receive the Recording Academy's lifetime achievement award the day before the telecast. The night after the big show, the legacy of the Fab Four will be feted with a performance special.

"The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles" will mark the Beatles' first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. The CBS special will be filmed at the Los Angeles Convention Center and air on Feb. 9, which marks exactly 50 years to the very moment of the Beatles' historic performance.

According to Recording Academy, many performers have also been added to lineup, including John Legend, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
