Luis Suarez has been officially presented as a new Barcelona player, just a day after he made his debut as a second-half substitute, in the Catalans 6-0 win over Mexican side Leon in a pre-season friendly.

Suarez transferred to Barcelona from Liverpool for a reported fee of $130 million, after his disgraceful exit from the World Cup. He's expected to make his competitive debut in October 26th "El Clasico" against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. Suarez's chomp on Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini's shoulder in June earned him a four-month ban from playing competitive matches, and further damaged his reputation. Suarez calls his suspension as a "difficult situation," but says he's moved on from the biting scandal. The Uruguyan has promised his new team and their fans, that he'll only sink his teeth into food, once he returns to the pitch.

"I try to forget this game and the situation as well. It's a difficult moment for me, and I say to all the fans don't worry for that, because I don't do this any more. I know in football, every time the media criticize you, and myself, and it's no matter for me, and I try and forget it," Suarez said.
