A spokesman of Libya's UN-backed government of national accord said on Monday in Tripoli that the government is working to bring the Libyan parties back for talks without any mediation, in order to resolve the country's crises.

"The presidential council of the government of national accord is making efforts to bring the Libyan parties to sit at the same table without any mediation to resolve problems that hinder the building of the state and cause instability," Ashraf Al-Thulthi said.

He said the current shortage of fuel and water in the city is over and the rest of problems are on the way to a solution.

Despite a UN-sponsored peace deal signed by Libya's political rival factions, the country still suffers political division and unrest.

Libya has also been suffering economic crises due to decrease of oil production, the country's main source of income.
