China's world number four Ding Junhui and another Chinese player Li Hang both enjoyed victories of the third round at the 2017 Snooker World Open held in Yushan County, Jiangxi Province of China.

Ding started the match 3-1 against last year' s runner-up Joe Perry before the mid-session interval, before he nailed down two frames for the victory. Li Hang pasted Peter Ebdon 5-3.

"The first frame gave me a lot of confidence," Ding said. "I'm enjoying the game."

Neil Robertson and Mark Allen shared the first eight frames in the afternoon, before Allen ended the match with a 109-1 victory in the ninth frame.

"Neil is a top snooker player and I had to struggle with my attention." Said Allen.
