BEIJING, July 12 (Economic Daily - China Economic Net) -- The Ministry of Commerce recently stated that it will take a number of measures to relieve the impacts of trade frictions between China and the United States on Chinese companies. At the same time, local governments are also taking various methods to provide targeted guidance for companies.
The Ministry of Commerce said that through research, four measures will be taken to alleviate the impact of China-U.S. trade frictions on companies, including continuous assessment of the impact on various types of companies; using the tariff revenue from countermeasures to help Chinese companies and employees hurt by U.S. tariffs; encouraging companies to adjust the import structure, such as increasing the import of agricultural products and automobiles in other countries and regions; creating a better investment environment and providing legal rights protection for companies.
Liu Jiheng, full-time Vice President of China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, said that China-U.S. trade frictions won't have a major impact on Chinese small and medium companies, which is expected to be shown in the fourth quarter. As the Chinese goods targeted by the U.S. tariffs mainly fall into the category of goods for livelihood and supported products, which are mostly produced by small and medium enterprises, they will be affected to some extent. On the whole, China-U.S. trade frictions primarily have an impact on small and medium enterprises' anticipation.
