U.S. pair wins ice dance title in ISU GP Finals

U.S. pair Meryl Davis/Charlie White on Saturday claimed the title of ice dance after the day's contests of free dance in the International Skating Union Grand Prix Finals.

With short program's 77.66 points, the U.S. skaters gained 113.69 points in free dance and won a total of 191.35 points to claim the championship.

Canadian Tessa Virtue/Scott Moir placed the second with 190.00 points, while French pair Nathalie Pechalat/Fabian Bourzat, who ranked the fifth after short program, performed better in the free dance with 102.48 points, making them rank the third with 169.11 points.

Russian Ekaterina Bobrova/Dmitri Soloviev and another pair of Canadian players Kaitlyn Weaver/Andrew Poje followed the French with 166.72 and 165.04 respectively.

Italian Anna Cappellini/Luca Lanotte ranked the last with 156.58 points.
