Chinese Wang Chu finished his second trial at Dutch club ADO Den Haag on Thursday with no decision being made yet on a contract.

The 22-year-old joined the youth academy of FC Metz at the age of 13 and made it to the second team of the French club. In 2012 he left Metz and moved to Jeunesse d'Esch. He is still under contract at the Luxembourg club, but was allowed to go on trial at ADO.

After spending his first trial in August, Wang Chu arrived in The Hague again last Sunday. He trained with the Dutch Eredivisie club this week and played a friendly match on Thursday in The Hague. Wang Chu was in the ADO starting line-up for the game against amateur side HBS, which was won 4-1 by the professionals, and was substituted after sixty minutes.

"I am satisfied with my performance today," Wang Chu told Xinhua. "I didn't get a goal, but I think the most important thing for a midfielder is to help the whole team to get a goal. The Dutch football league is definitely a better platform. If I can play here, that will be great. But I don't know what will happen now. All I can do is always try my best."

ADO coach Maurice Steijn was satisfied with today's performance of Wang Chu, who played at his favorite position of central midfielder. "His performance was very good today," Steijn told Xinhua. "He was a bit injured today because they kicked him, but yes he played well. He can play on every position on the mid-field."

Whether Wang Chu will get a contract is not certain yet. "Now we have to discuss it with the other members of the club and the direction of the club," Steijn added. "He played very well, so we have to think about the next step."
