Belgian head coach Adel Amrouche has included four new faces in his squad of 17 home based players that will prepare for Kenya's 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier preliminary round match against Comoros in Nairobi on May 18.

In a statement from Football Kenya Federation (FKF), Amrouche has also given a call up to goalkeeper Wycliffe Kasaya who is yet to be capped by his national side Harambee Stars.

Defenders Oliver Kipruto from Kenyan Premier League (KPL) outfit, Ulinzi Stars and Hillary Otieno from lower division side, Kariobangi Sharks as well as midfielders Geoffrey Kataka from promoted top-flight side, KRA and Harrison Mwendwa who plays for Mathare United (KPL) are the new names on the list.

The team will assemble in Nairobi from Tuesday to prepare for the tie before Amrouche decides which foreign based players will augment the locals for the final squad of 23 that will face the islanders in a two-legged tie.

Amrouche has not deviated much from the team that lifted the regional Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup in December last year on home soil as he bids to return the East African nation to the continental showpiece for the first time since Tunisia 2004.

Should Kenya beat Comoros whom they have never met in any competition before, they will take on the winner of the preliminary featuring Liberia and Lesotho.

Further progression will see Stars join Group C alongside last year's beaten finalists, Burkina Faso, Angola and Gabon to compete for a ticket for the 2015 Morocco Afcon.
