Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has set his sights high as he returns to work ahead of the new football season.

Ronaldo has just rejoined his teammates training in Los Angeles, but although he has begun by working apart from the squad as his works to shake off the knee problems which dogged the end of last season, in an interview with Goal.com, he said he aimed to lift every trophy which is possible to win this coming campaign.

Real Madrid will not just play the BBVA Primera Liga, the King's Cup and the Champions League this campaign, as the Cup win and Champions League triumphs last season mean they will also play for the Spanish and European Supercups as well as the World Club Championship.

"My aim is for Real Madrid to lift all of the possible titles, I want to win the six trophies," said Ronaldo.

"Our club, our technical staff and my teammates are going to do everything possible every day and every week for that to happen," said Ronaldo, whose aim is to be fit for the European Supercup, which sees Real Madrid take on Sevilla in Cardiff on August 12.

"We are going to work hard in every training session from the first to the last minute," he added.

Real Madrid are still working in the USA, meanwhile speculation continues to grow over the future of Argentinean winger, Angel Di Maria, who looks to be closing in on a move to either Paris Saint Germain or Manchester United, despite the fact that coach, Carlo Ancelotti said on Sunday that he expected him back for training on August 5.

Finally the expected signing of Costa Rican goalkeeper Kaylor Navas has hit a delay given that the club has so far failed to offload either Diego Lopez or Iker Casillas, one of whom has to leave in order to open the door for the arrival of Navas.
