Kaka has been ruled out of Sao Paulo's Copa do Brasil clash with Bragantino on Wednesday due to to a calf injury.

The 32-year-old suffered a knock to his lower right leg during Sao Paulo's 2-1 loss to Goias on Sunday - Kaka's first match for his boyhood club since 2003.

Sao Paulo will also be without center-back Antonio Carlos and forward Osvaldo for Wednesday's fixture in Ribeirao Preto.

Kaka was his team's best player against Goias and kept the Tricolor in the match with a 76th-minute strike.

The 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year winner has joined the Brazilian outfit on a six-month loan deal after leaving AC Milan by mutual consent.
