After Canada's Milos Raonic was ousted in the third round of the Paris Masters on Thursday, Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland and Richard Gasquet of France have sealed their berth in the the season-ending World Tour Finals in London.
The 22-year-old Raonic, currently world No. 11, was defeated by Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic 7-6 (15-13), 6-4, while world No. 8 Wawrinka and No.10 Gasquet both advanced to the next round in Paris, leaving the Canadian no chance to surpass them in the rankings.
Current world No. 9 Jo-Wilfried was eliminated in the second round of the Paris Masters, and will be overtaken by his compatriot Gasquet.
The 2013 World Tour Finals in London to start next Monday will only feature eight players. The inclusion of Wawrinka and Gasquet has completed the eight-man line-up which are Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, David Ferrer, Juan Martin Del Potro, Roger Federer, Berdych, Wawrinka and Gasquet.
Wimbledon champion Andy Murray of Britain, currently third in the rankings, will lose the chance to compete on his home soil due to injuries.
