Taubman Centers Inc, which owns or manages 22 shopping centers in the US, has been approached by two to three casino developers to set up shopping malls in Macau, said Morgan Parker, head of Taubman's operations in Asia.

Taubman Centers, which is searching for retail projects in Asia, is looking at both the Macau Peninsula as well as the Cotai Strip in the former Portuguese colony, he said. Talks are expected to be completed in the next six months and the company will choose one gaming operator.
