| HK influenza A/H1N1 death toll rises to 79 |

Hong Kong has reported one more death case from A/H1N1 influenza, said the Hospital Authority on Tuesday, bringing the city's death toll to 79.
A 77-year-old male patient with a history of stroke attended the Accident and Emergency Department of Queen Elizabeth Hospital on March 21 due to cough and fever. He was confirmed to be affected with influenza A/H1N1 on March 29. The patient's condition deteriorated and he passed away on April 12.
The case was reported to the Hospital Authority Head Office and Center for Health Protection. |
