The world largest industrial expo Hannover Messe expects a spectacular presentation this year by its official partner China, Wolfram von Fritsch, chairman of the event organizer Deutche Messe AG, told Xinhua in a recent interview.

With the theme "Greentelligence," Hannover Messe 2012 will focus on green energy, industrial automation, mobile technology and other fields in eight flagship shows.

As the official partner, China is set to attend all the eight shows under the slogan "Green + Intelligence."

Sitting in his office at Deutsche Messe headquarters in Hannover, Dr. von Fritsch expressed his optimism about China's performance.

"China has been at the leading position of wind energy and other technological fields, and has not stopped its advance. It will present itself with an unprecedented quality and scale, and is expected to surprise exhibitors from other countries and regions."

Among some 5,000 exhibitors from 65 countries and regions, nearly 500 will come from China and occupy 9,000 square meters out of the 172,000 square-meter area of the Messe.
