Last Updated(Beijing Time):2009-08-26 15:34
Mongolian Prime Minister Sanjaa Bayar met with Mongolian President Dmitry Medvedev here on Tuesday and discussed cooperation in trade, nuclear energy, mine and railway between the two counties.

Bayar believed that Medvedev's visit and agreements signed during the visit would contribute to boosting bilateral relationship and cooperation.

Medvedev said his visit would bring Russian-Mongolian ties into a new stage.

Earlier in the day, Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj held talks with Medvedev and the two presidents signed a manifesto to boost strategic partnership, and an agreement on forming a joint venture to exploit the Dornod uranium deposit in Mongolia. Chairman of Mongolian Parliament Damdin Demberel also met with Medvedev.

Medvedev arrived here on Tuesday for a two-day visit, which is another high-level exchange after Russia' s prime minister Vladimir Putin visited Mongolia in May, 2009.
